On Saturday 30. On August 2025, the traditional CHESS Slovak OPEN tournament took place in the House of Culture in Skalica. It was played in 7 rounds with a pace of 10 min + 5 s/move, under the guidance of the event director IO Milan Roman and the main IA referee Rastislav Diviak. The average Elo of the tournament was 1867 and the average age of the participants was 28 years.
